Vidal Blanc is a sturdy grape that can withstand the rough weather long enough to be naturally frozen. The grapes for this vintage were picked early in the morning of December 14th, 2010 at 13° Fahrenheit. They were carefully pressed, yielding a small amount of the juice at 45.87% sugar. The juice was fermented slowly at a cool temperature to retain the full complexity of flavors. It was released November 9, 2011.
Awards: Jefferson Cup Gold Medal, awarded November 2011
