Thursday, August 13, 2009 - A Dress Affair:
7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. - TBAI Endangered Species/Ross Park Zoo Benefit Gala(Wine tasting and Hors d'oeuvres). We'd love to share this memorable evening with you. The Gala's wonderful, heart warming spirit will envelope you for the entire event. Get a sneak peek at some of the wonderful artist creations. Free will donation; pre-registration required.
Friday, August 14, 2009 - Daytime Activities:
8:00a.m. - 9:30 a.m. - Registration and Continental Breakfast 9:30a.m. - 1:00 p.m. - Tour of the areas six carousels (take a ride conditions permitting.) 9:30 a.m. - 12 noon - "Photographing your Teddy Bears and Friends:" - a discussion of cameras, light, and composition, presented by artist Donna Griffin. Followed by: "Let's All Play!!"Join Martha Burch for a fun filled game of Charades with a pictoral twist (a combination of Charades and Pictionary) to guess the song titles that you will see represented in the Gallery pieces. (Prizes awarded)the more noize and laughter, the better! 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. - Sabro Square Deli Lunch 2 - 3 p.m. - Name That Song - Come laugh and have fun with fellow collectors - guessing song titles. Work alone or together - just have fun!!
Friday Evening - 5:00 p.m. - A Dress Affair:
5:00 p.m. - Name That Song Gallery Reception (Hor d'oeuvres and cash bar). Absolutely stunning, one-of-a-kind artistry depicting some of your favorite song lyrics and/or song titles created expressly for TBAI 2009. 6:00 p.m. - TBAI Artist Preview Show & Sale for Friday evening collectors and guests. You will have the first opportunity to see the artists' awesome creations. 7:15 p.m. - TBAI 2009 Feast, Auction of Teddy 2009, and presentation of the People's Choice Awards.
Saturday, August 15, 2009:
8:00 a.m. - TBAI Hot Breakfast Buffet and presentation of 2009 TOBY People's Choice Awards! 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. TBAI 2009 Show and Sale open to the public. 4:30 p.m. - TBAI Cookout at Ross Park Zoo.
