Adapting to cold weather seems to be pretty easy for our vineyards that are put to bed under a mound of soil and bears who go sleep after several months of good eating. Knapp Winery fans adapt to the icy cold by sampling great Knapp Wine and exposing their palates to the offerings of this years’ Hibernation Celebration Chile stews. Local fire departments will be participating in the first Knapp sponsored chili cook-off. Romulus, and Ovid's best cooks are concocting the perfect recipes for the competition. A popular vote, meaning you, will select the winner. $10.00 will include a sampling of each of the chilis offered and accompanying wine. Wine and other beverages will be available by the glass.
