A little bit of French culture invades Knapp Winery and Vineyard Restaurant as we celebrate France’s Bastille Day on July 17, 2010 with a Knapp twist from 1-4pm. Join us in our tasting room to sample Knapp’s Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot wines! Three special tastings with French bread and French style cheeses for $5.00
For French style wine aficionados or those wanting to learn about our Bordeaux style wines a 30 min presentation including tasting will be held in our tank room: 10 people max (two sessions)- First come first serve- free. Sessions at 2:00 and 2:45
Finger Paint the Eifel Tower- best painting wins prize! –We cannot guarantee that your work will be hung in the Louvre in Paris, but we promise that a special place in our winery will be set aside to display your work. Pictionary lovers will do well!
American Hot Dogs will be available with special French mustard alongside a good ole American burger with Guyrerre cheese.
Kiss –a-thon - We are seeking contestants that will lock lips the longest in tribute to our French kissing patriots. A prize for all who enter and a grand prize for the couple that endure the longest. The world record is 32 hours 14 min and 17 sec, but we will give you the prize if you are still together by closing time. Starts at 3:00pm
French Braids: Anyone who comes wearing a French braid gets a free tasting.
French Poodles are welcome!
