Lighter Fare
 
 
Local Cheese and Cracker Board- Asampling of fine locally produced cheeses; Finger Lakes Farmstead Cheese co.’s Red Meck, Schuyler, and Bier Meck cheeses, and Muranda Farms “Red Buddy” cheese. Served with elegant artisan crackers and fresh fruit, will serve as a fantastic light lunch or a great starter for the table.                     $10.50

Mini Crab Cakes-Knapp’s famous lump crab cakes pan fried golden brown and served with a summer squash carpaccio, dressed with a lemon and thyme aioli and a light chipotle remoulade.      $12.50

Proscuitto wrapped Prawns- Tiger prawns wrapped in proscuitto di parma and grilled. Served with a roasted red pepper polenta cake, summer squash carpaccio and drizzled with aged balsamic reduction.     $12.50

Baked Brie en Croute- A renowned dish at Knapp, with a new twist. Aged brie wrapped in puff pastry and baked until golden brown. Served in a pool of Chef’s Strawberry Limoncello coulis, with artisan crackers, fresh fruit and Ruby port poached pears.       $12.25

Roasted Red Pepper Bisque-  A creamy blended bisque consisting of roasted red peppers and fresh dill finished with Knapp’s Seyval Blanc. Drizzled with an aged balsamic crème fraiche.

Garden Salad- Crisp local field greens, seedless cucumber, grape tomatoes, artichoke hearts, and golden fried Vidalia onions. Topped with Muranda Farms “Red Buddy” cheese shavings and choice of dressing.     $9.75

Wedge Salad- A generous wedge of iceberg lettuce dressed with local blue cheese, applewood smoked bacon lardons, shaved Vidalia onion, crouton baguette, and sliced tomato. Dressed with a creamy avocado balsamic ranch.    $10.25

Asiago Caesar- A generous portion of crisp Romaine lettuce, homemade herbed croutons, and apple wood smoked bacon lardons. Tossed lightly in a creamy Caesar dressing and served with a lemon wedge in an aged asiago lace cup       $10.50

Pretzel Bread Chicken Club-  Tender grilled chicken breast and apple wood smoked bacon topped with Fingerlakes Farmstead Cheese Co.’s “Red Meck”and baked. Served on a Pretzel Bread roll with crisp leaf lettuce, tomato, shaved onion and an avocado balsamic ranch sauce.                 $11.50

Knapp Famous Crab Cake- Our signature jumbo lump crab cake, made from the freshest available ingredients. Pan seared, and served on a bed of field greens with a chipotle remoulade and summer squash carpaccio in a lemon and thyme aioli.                $12.95
