Meet Our Chef

Knapp Vineyard restuarant is located on the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail, on Ernsberger Road, three-quarter miles from the lake.  John McNabb, Executive Chef has created a menu that largely comes from local farms and businesses.  “I have immersed myself in creating my menu components from scratch and using as many local ingredients to capture the flavors of the Finger Lakes”, says McNabb.

Inspired by flavor and being able to create a product from scratch, Chef McNabb has also composed a symphony of delicious homemade items that are rooted in many of his entrees.  Experience the freshly made assortment of appetizers.   Vegetarian options are plentiful with a fine assortment of delightful sides and veggies. All in all, it is fair to say that Knapp’s Vineyard Restaurant offers a flavorful and umami (savory) rich menu.
