To take part in #openlocalwine all you need to do is:
Get a bottle of local wine (or cider) and open it Saturday, April 10.
Enjoy it with a nice meal – either home-cooked for takeout from your favorite local restaurant.
Post picture(s) of the wine or wines online – Instagram, Facebook, Twitter – using hashtag #openlocalwine. And tell us why you picked that wine (or wines) and who you are sharing it with.
Raise a glass to the winemaker who made it.
Drink it and enjoy it with your family.
Please also make sure that you @ mention the winery/winemaker as well as The Cork Report on Facebook, Twitter and/or Instagram (we are @ginashay1, @lennthompson and @corkreportmedia on the latter two).
That will help us see and then share your posts with the larger #openlocalwine community.
We will be challenging our visitors to help us describe our Rosé. If they choose, each visitor will be given a sheet with possible descriptors of our Rosé. You will need to use your senses to choose from a list of all the possibilities of what YOU believe you smell and taste. Those that take the challenge get $2.00 off a bottle of Rosé! Then we can instagram with #openlocalwine
Seatings are at 12pm, 2pm and 4pm. Limited seating is available for each seating and reservations are required.
A la carte menu is the following
Lobster Bisque- spiked with tarragon and Chardonnay, finished with Crème fraiche- $7/cup $8/ Bowl
Mushroom Merlot Soup- Mushrom mélange, garlic, dill, merlot, parmesan. - $6.5/cup $7.5/ Bowl
Chevre Arancini- Parmesan risotto spheres, Lively Run Chevre, Panko breadcrumbs, lemon caper aioli. $12.
Petite Crab & Shrimp Cakes- Lump crab, gulf shrimp, panko breadcrumb, chipotle aioli, lemon caper aioli. $13.
Truffled Artichokes- Fried Artichoke hearts, truffle parmesan dust, truffle chive aioli, asiago. $10.
All dinner entrees served with bread and oil for the table and 1 salad choice for each guest.

Grilled Prime Rib Au Jus- 14 oz. Herb garlic crusted USDA Choice prime rib grilled, Chive Parmesan compound butter, garlic Jus, whipped garlic & boursin potatoes, Haricots vert. $30
Vegetable Tagine- Yukon gold potatoes, butternut squash, garbanzo, onion, ginger, lentils, carrot, tomato, coriander, cumin, harissa, parsley. Saffron jasmine rice. $22
